What is a friend? Someone who is always there for you? Someone you can tell anything and everything to? Someone who likes you for who you are no matter what? Even a pet can be a friend to certain people. Well there is only one who can be all of these and anything and everything else you might see a friend as. God. I have THE hardest time remembering that. Sad, I know. I've had friends who have been steady friends, others who have left, and then there are those friends that I have drifted from. I started thinking, whats the point of friends who don't stay you're friends; or those friends that just stay steady friends all through your life but are never best friends or anything. I've come to the conclusion that maybe we aren't meant to have best friends all the time because God is supposed to be our best friend. He is going to like me, no matter what. He is going to love me, despite all my actions and flaws. He is never going to leave me. Why is that so hard to remember??? I don't know but I need constant reminders that I do have a best friend and His name is Jesus Christ. What could be better than that? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
